Introducing the H4 Handy Digital Recorder. The next big thing from Zoom. The H4 features 2 studio-quality electret condenser microphones configured in an X/Y pattern for true stereo recording. It also includes 2 combination XLR-1/4 in. input jacks with phantom power for use with any external microphones of your choice. And the H4 is loaded with onboard studio effects such as compression, limiting and mic modeling. An 1/8 in. headphone jack is also provided for monitoring. The H4 records on to Secure Digital (SD) media, a 512MB SD card is included with the unit.

Definitely CD quality. I tried different settings recording concert band rehearsals. All high quality. No distortion - real clear. Listening to the recording through earphones or speakers is like being right there live.
Ease of Use:
I learned very easily from the manual in a short amount of time.
Support:
Have no experience with this.
Overall:
I probably won’t look any further for a recorder like this. This is a wonderful purchase, on my part, and will serve my purposes for years to come. I can’t imagine a better recorder this size, with these features and so user-friendly.
